Wayne and I have owned Dexter cattle now on our 10 acre piece of paradise in Upper Hutt, for over 7 years and have never once regretted purchasing this lovely breed. Hopefully by the time you have done your own homework you will feel the same way?

We have strived over the years to upgrade our stock and improve on the confirmation, quality and soundness, with the bulls we have used over the past few years. It is extremely important in our view to use a top bull that will pass on his own qualities to his progeny. Even though we don’t show our stock we try and make sure that the new youngsters are of better quality than their sire and dam. So far we think we have achieved this and will hopefully continue to do so in the years to come.

Maureen is also the Membership Secretary for the Dexter Cattle Society NZ Inc so can help you with all things from membership to helping you find the right Dexter.
