Registration of cattle

Cows

Under 12 months the cost of registration is $10. Between the ages of 12 to 24 months registration cost is $20.
For animals over 24 months the cost is $20 and Council approval must be obtained to register the animal.

The Application Form must be fully completed (Leg length and your Yellow Tag numbers are not compulsory, but the data is highly desirable for Herd Book research, and dual identification).

Bulls

Under 24 months the cost of registration is $30. For animals over 24 months the cost is $60 and Council approval must be obtained to register the animal.

The Application Form must be fully completed (Leg length and your Yellow Tag numbers are not compulsory, but the data is highly desirable for Herd Book research, and dual identification).

A DNA certificate must be included.
 

Transfer of ownership of cattle

Within 30 days of sale the cost is $15. Over 30 days after sale the cost rises to $30.

All Transfers, whether to members or non-members, are to be paid for, and submitted by, the Seller who must be a financial member at the time of sale. The Transfer must also be signed by the Buyer.
